Mount Ocean Sports Club was officially opened on 13^th March 1993 by 3 founding clubs

• Mount Maunganui Sports Fishing Club
• Mount Maunganui Yacht Club
• Mount Maunganui Underwater Club

The club was originally created for the members of 3 listed clubs above as somewhere to hold their meetings/events and to have a place to call home.

Since we opened, the club has gone from strength to strength. With a few rocky waters on the way of course. Due to the support of the three clubs and the perseverance of a collective of individuals who volunteer their time our club is now a great community venue where people can dine on great food, find a great selection of fairly priced beverages, host events and enjoy some of the best views in the bay. Oh and we almost forgot get the freshest take away fish and chips in town from our Dairy.

Situated on Pilot bay shores we offer some of the best views in town with views over the water and of the great Mount Maunganui.
